Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Pricing

Starting prices for each certificate service are shown on the relevant service page and the booking page. These are “from” prices for a standard-size property (for example, a studio/1-bedroom for EICR); additional charges apply per extra bedroom or appliance as shown on the booking page before you confirm. Electrical installation and remedial work is quoted individually and the quoted price applies once accepted, subject to the property matching what was described at quote stage.

2. When payment is taken

Certificate bookings: full payment (or a deposit, if shown at checkout) is taken at the time of booking or on completion of the appointment, as indicated during the booking process. Quoted electrical/installation work: payment terms (deposit, staged payments, or payment on completion) will be confirmed in writing as part of the quote before work begins.

3. Accepted payment methods

We accept payment by the methods shown at checkout or agreed directly with our team (for example card payment or bank transfer). We do not store your full card details.

4. Price changes

Prices may be updated from time to time; the price confirmed to you at the point of booking or quote acceptance is the price that applies to that job, and will not change afterwards unless the agreed scope of work changes.

5. Refunds

Where a cancellation qualifies for a refund under our Terms & Conditions or UK consumer law, refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time, normally within 14 days of the cancellation being confirmed. If a job cannot be completed for a reason on our side, any amount already paid for the incomplete part of the work will be refunded.

6. Failed or declined payments

If a payment fails or is declined, we’ll contact you to arrange an alternative method before the appointment is confirmed. We reserve the right to postpone or decline to carry out a booking where payment cannot be successfully taken.

7. Late payment (quoted/commercial work)

For quoted work invoiced on completion, payment is due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to charge reasonable interest on significantly overdue commercial invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

8. VAT
